Chitthi Ka Safar
Chitthi ka safar
Asawari and I Read the chapter in NCERT book called" Chitthi ka safar".
Asawari enjoyed reading with me. We made a mind map, visited nearby post office on 13th main, HAL 2nd Stage, Bangalore

Visit to the Post Office
Outside the post office we saw various post boxes - local, normal and fro greetings only. As soon as we entered we saw advertisement of World Net for parcel service and a soft board full of services - like saving schemes, ticket booking for train, rail etc. - I felt that we have to the wrong place - we wanted to go to POST office. Well, we roam around, asked for MO form and telegram - the lady looked us and smiled - she said no telegram from here - you need to go to BSNL. And there is no MO you can do EMO. oops - I felt I was outdated. The knowledge of POST office is restricted to what we read in the book - less realized that the post office is growing and no more the same place as it was 30 yrs back.
I was wondering the why do we teach our children OUTDATED information :(.
Well, we took EMO form and came back. Next day we went before 2pm to make sure we can send EMO. Bought various kind of post materiel like - postcard, inland letter, envelope and stamps. She wants to send book post to Nupur aunty in London (rs 15) and book post to someone in India (rs 4).
