Lobster Home

10-Dec-2008 Asawari Wrote: In the morning at 10 o’clock we reached the farm. We fed the ducks and chickens grains. Gerry told us that we are making a home for the Lobsters. He also said that he had adopted 3 Donkeys and one Pony. We met the donkeys. We even saw the snakes he had found at the farm. One snake was a sand buar (not poisonous) and the other one was a Krait (poisonous). I felt a bit scared and did not want to hold the snake. I am not used to snakes.

We then started making the lobsters home. We searched for the rocks, bricks, and empty pots. We washed everything. One little red Lobster went into the drainage so we tried and finally got him out. All the water came out and we cleaned the tank. We made four little homes and boundaries. Then we filled up the tank with water. After having Lunch we put Lobsters inside the tank. 2 males and 2 females. We went for a worm search. We dug the ground and found the worms. We put the worms in the tank for the lobsters to eat. We then left the snakes in the wild. At 3pm we reached home sweet home.

I liked searching Worms and feeding to the Lobsters. I would like to have a farm with the animals. I am comfortable with cows, ducks, hens, bunnies, goats, sheep, cats and can try Dog. The farm will have lot of greenery. I will have a bird corner where I will have trees, insects, water, swings and grains for birds to come and go. The birds are free.
