Volunteer work - give insight into other side of the society - larger picture of the society - which makes Huge part of the society but in oblivion in our life. we do not interact with other side or this side of the society. Shopping, festivals, parties, neighborhood - ALL these gives the experiences of a small segment of society. Its important to EXPERIENCE that what we have is ENOUGH and there is a need to GIVE.

This cannot be given by just doing charity (we as parest feel) - first hand experience is the best experience  we have always believed in "experiential learning".
