Today we had parent child day to celebrate Republic day.Together we hoisted the falg and our little ones put in a lot of effort to stand still when the national anthem was on.

We went to see Ratnesh uncle's car . All of us were excited to get into the car. They were all in diffferent places in the car. One of them was driving them to Commercial Street.

Newspaper

Today we introduced the NEWSPAPER to our little friends. They were talking about the pictures . They were especially more interested in the vehicles.

PONGAL CELEBRATIONS

Children made pongal today our Laxmi aunty helped us in putting up the fire . She put the bricks and wood and lit the fire . Children put in a handful of rice in the pot they were excited about the whole process of cooking.
They also mixed til and jaggery and made their own "TIL GUL" to give their parents .

"I have come back"

When I left a new child who was crying ,by himself , for some time , the child settled down on his own and joined the group with a smile and said "I have come back" and did all the activities .

"Experience day"

Today we had "expereince day" where they were given the rolling pin and they were rolling the dough.Some of them were tapping with the rolling pin and most of them knew that they had to first put the dry powder and then roll!!!

Children were very very involved in stringing the shapes . They kept trying different ways and methods.If we give them the space to do so at their level the satisfaction is visible on their faces.

After a break we were back to our familiar place.We were quite curious with the beads.We were trying to string it with our little fingers.
