Exploring self

Children enjoyed the photography session trying to click each child's photo and
then tracing their hands and feet trying to get the concept of 2d and 3d ( picture and the actual or say the real ones) for eg looking into the mirror and seeing their own face and trying to feel the one in the mirror and themselves by touching the ears.eyes.hands,fingers,nose etc.It was great about exploring their own selves.

Pretend play- hotel

Today all children had a really great day. We created a hotel enviroment and the set up was a small table and chairs for childrens' snacks and they really felt very important while the other child was serving the glass of water and food in the plate. Moreover, the children were so excited, that they didn't want to get up from their chair and table,and told the care taker to serve them and in return said "THANK YOU" to her and the child who served them water.

Role play-House

Children enjoyed the role play and tried to immitate(roles) boys as their father and girls as their mother and was pretending to talk and act like their mother or father.During the animal activity they sorted out big animals and small animals and the animals which go in the water and the one which are farm animals and jungle animals. They also created the enviroment of the farm,jungle and aquatic animals respectively.What they most enjoyed was the clay activity where they used stencils animals to make 2D figure and then put colour powder over it to get the animals figure.Children realy freaked out.

Funny faces

Children ejoyed the photo shooting where they had to make different funny faces and laugh like a joker.The character they enacted was of a tweety bird with long nails and yellow beak stuck on their nose and they also enjoyed seeing the picture of the other children while shooting taking turns.

Exploring vegetables

Today the experiece session children were suppose to recognise different vegetables like cabbage,tommato,beetroot,cucumber,spinach,raddish,corriander,baby corn,onion,potato, taste it and then decide to choose which vegetable can they make a salad,which vegetable can they eat raw and which vegetable they need to cook and eat,Most of th children's favorouit was carrot and cucumber.And most of the children like spinach soup and refused tommato soup.The experience of taste was ok. Also most of the children were sppiting out the vegetable that was not tasty or which was tasting bitter.Finaly children will be going to Namdhari fresh vegetable shop and pick up one vegeable to make a vegable salad.

Republic Day

The event of the" Republic day" went on very well.Children were excited and were finding new about the flag hoisting and the national anthem.One of the child said that today is India's birthday so the celebration.The child parent activity was full of excitement where we had an activity on spay painting, keeping any shapes over the chart sheet and spraying all over and then seeing what comes up.Using fine motor skill, children had to stick the bits of news paper on their written names and then decorating with colour bits of papper which went on well and also children made a friendship band with wool and pre-cut small colour straws and then tied around their wrists.The over all sesssion which was full fun activity and it went all well and all the children enjoyed it. Visit to the park

Children are always excited and thrilled to go to the park and enjoy for sometime playing on the swing and running around.Today children had an activity collecting seeds in the bowl.The good thing about it was children were searching the seeds and collecting small small things like stones.shrubs,dry leaves etc.All children were very much engrossed in collecting whatever they found on the ground and telling this is how the tree grows big.
