I am meditating!!

I'm committed to Meditate.
This little Khoji sits through the entire meditation with eyes sincerely closed, till the music ends!! It so happened that one fine day when it was snack time and he was busy munching away some goodies, he heard the familiar music of meditation from somewhere far away,,,,,,,,and our little one as usual :) sincerely closed his eyes as he always would andtried something different,,,,, developing skills of directing his spoon of food into his mouth with eyes closed in deep meditation!

Playing home

We had a gala time creating our make believe kitchen and bed room with large bed sheets to create our rooms. Children were thrilled to get into their own little spaces and do all the things that they usually watch their parents do. They attempted to spread the bed sheet on their mattress and didn't give up even as the ends kept moving from here to there:) It was a cute sight !!
The kitchen was a busy place too, churning out hot soup for all, ( some of them liked it so much that they wanted a second helping), chapathis.

Super fun journey

We had a lovely travelling time, we got different tickets for the road, rail, boat and air travel.Each of us were excited, bid goodbye, happy journey and took off on a super fun journey.

Exploring vehicals

Today we had a session on exposure to modes of transport, children took to recognising different vehicles and where they move instantly, there was involvement when they had to reate their own vehicles, putting together tyres, windows, sail etc. I enjoyed the sense of pride and ownership when they completed their pictures of vehicles.

Pretend play at work

Here's something that I would like to share,,,,
when we joined Genie kids my son and me were not very comfortable, he was already settled in another play school and protested to be with someone else,we tried different things but the crying continued, Ratnesh then suggested us to try out pretend play. Back home we created Shivani aunty's class and Girija aunty's class and went about our activities as in Genie kids,,,,,
Yesterday my son chose to walk into Girija auntie's class wilingly and gave me a lovely flying kiss as went in.Thanks to all who suppoerted us through this change!!

Care and concern

We experienced some special moments where two kids sat on a chair face to face and had a very lovely conversation. They exhibited care and concern for each other.

Clean Genies

Today we had a whale of a time with the little genies cleaning up the room with a broom!!! We were very enthu to role play care- taking and took up responsibility to mop, dust and clean the room thoroughly.
