Exploring praise

Today's activity was on praising others which the children were giving the notes of praise willingly and readily . They were excited to see what their friends had written on their back.

Fun with newspapers

We had an activiy on self-esteem where the children came to know that appreciation boosts us while bad comments droops us down.The next activity was interesting, and open-ended which the children freaked out on and created wonderful sculptures with just few newspaper rolls.Children changed the rolls into puppets, boat, trumpet, flute, door-hanger and a sky scraper.One of the activities I enjoyed.

Rainbow

Children created poems,article on Geniekids which enhanced their thinking skills and brought out their talents and they found their ability to create one. Children enjoyed the activity 'colouring my rainbow ' as it had all the inteligences weaved with in.

Identifying talents

Today there was a feelings parade where the children were excited expressing various feelings.They were asked to identify their strengths and they were awarded for the same . The main aim was to make them aware of their talents which boosts up their sef-esteem.
