Saturday programs for children starting Jan 06

2a) For 3-5 year olds - FUN TALES Exciting story-telling based activity program with loads of Multiple Intelligence based activities. Top it with an expression round to encourage children to think and express to the whole group. Stories were never so much fun - as children develop an extra love for books, learning and public speaking.
Each session revolves around a story. The session has three parts:
* It starts off with story telling using different story telling methods and involving children in the process
** The children do various activities based on the story. Activities are based on 8 intelligences - hence child gets exposure to a very wide range of activities: From music to language, numbers, art , craft, clay , drama , puppetry, interpersonal skills, science and to everyday experiential learning.
*** At the end each child "express to the group" - either the same story or any other story, or actually the child can talk about anything - the idea is to get the child to express to the group. 7th Jan to 25 Feb 2006; 2:30 to 5pm; Fee Rs1200 per child

2b) For 5-7 year olds - SMART GENIE

This programs focuses on giving children exposure of becoming confident, expressing and building essential skills of communication and to become better thinkers -
hence becoming SMARTer. To us smartness is all about:
* Thinking better
* Using knowledge better
* Communicating expressively and through various mediums
* Be emotionally stronger

The program will use activities based on
1) Language development - peculiarly talking and expressing with an added emphasis on reading and developing a love for books
2) Story telling and story making
3) Puppetry
4) THEATER and body movements
5) Art as an expressive medium
6) Problem solving situations and activities
7th Jan to 25 Feb 2006; 10:30 to 1pm; Fee Rs1200 per child - only TWO seats left

2c) For 2 and 3 years olds - KHOJ
After more than six years of researching, designing and working with children, training parents and teachers -
Geniekids brings its reputed comprehensive developmental approach to

for the most underrated but developmentally the most importantly years of a child's life - 2 to5 years!

Geniekids kicks off this new initiative with a unique
developmental program for children 2 and 3 years old
KHOJ 2006 - a daily program from Jan-Mar 06
~ All children two or more years on 01 Jan 2006 eligible
~ Starting 09 Jan 06 - ending 24 Mar 06 (totally 11 weeks)
~ Monday to Friday ~ Two hours a day - 9:30 to 11:30
~ Ten children in one group with one facilitator and one helper
~ Total fee: Rs3600/- for the full program.
