Camp Balekhan is set in between the 100 acres of the Balekhan Estate and surrounded by the amazing Kudremukh range!

(leaving 15th night - coming back 20th morning)

About the Campsite
: The 100 yr old Halemane or Old house of the Pinto Family forms the hub of the campsite.In between 100 acres of coffee and Araca Nut plantation. this home has been with the family for the last three generations. Fresh milk from Lakshmi the cow, Neer dosas cooked on firewood and wooden staircases running across the house, all form part of the Balekhan experience. With streams running on the estate, winding paths leading to the hills and trails to be explored, this estate is an experience waiting to be had

16th May to 19th May
15th May - Day 0
- Depart by bus from Bangalore and travel overnight to kalasa
16th May - Day 1
- Early morning reach by bus and settle into the Pinto Estate. After breakfast at the estate, group activities and then trekking inside estate. Lunch at the estate, evening free for Art Of Nature activities inside the estate or the estate home. Evening Project Tiger N Me
This unique project helps children experience the work of a conservation biologists. With Pug Mark identification, Tiger Mini Dramas, Census methods and tracking systems, causes for extinction and Conservation Strategies all forming a part of the program, the participants are in for a holistic program that will make them more aware of the Tiger and his battle of existence
17th May - Day 2
- After breakfast proceed for rope activities, like flying fox, balancing, jummering and crossing. Evening visit to Rudrapada Island, a unique island of the Bhadra River, this river bed is home to types of flora, fauna and water bodies. Enjoy swimming, campfires, scavenger hunts and Art of Nature activities at the island, evening return to estate.
18th May - Day 3
- Whole day trekking to balaranyana durgra. A formidable hillock in the kalasa region, the day will be all about the survival instincts inside us. With our packed lunch we will be on our own the whole day, trekking to the top and back by evening.
19th May - Day 4
- Trek to Hanumangundi Waterfalls, a 60 feet waterfalls, with cool waters to splash in, particiapnst can enjoy swimming at the waterfalls.
Evening to Bangalore. - reach bangalore on 20th morning
