What is communication file ? - A way to communicate among parents, children and faculty at Khoj

What all you can communicate ? - Anything you want to share

How does child gets it ? - Your child will get from the school.

How do you use/read the communication file ?

1. At Khoj - Child come and share note, faculty sees the file
   
2. At home  child comes and share his note with parents

In both the cases there is no checking. Before anyone reads the child’s communication file note ask “Can I read ?”.

Why? - the communication file is not a complains or checking register for the parents. It is to be used by the child for notes, reminders, reflection. Hence if any other person other than the child wants to read need to take permission - in the process we learn to RESPECT the child.

When to send ? - Child needs to  carry the file EVERYDAY.

Parent's role

1. Use communication file for any communication - you need to send any message to us, reminder for child, or share any thoughts. Involve the child in writing - after all this is his/her file.
   
2. Support and guide the child to check the check-list at the home everyday.
