Convocation March09
Last day of the academic year was very busy. We all had fun dancing together. In class we explored our cans and were singing I CAN I CAN. Children liked the sound coming from their cans. We went to Nectar for convocation, one by one each one sat on a small chair and aunty wore their caps for them and gave them their photo certificate. We were all beaming and looking at the photographs which had us and our class mates.We happily posed for our photos. Came back class and enjoyed our ice cream took the bags which had our hand prints, put our files in and safely kept our certificates and rushed to our eagerly waiting mamas and papas who were excited on seeing their little ones come out with graduation caps.
My treasure
Our day began as usual with rhymes during sunshine time. Children had come in bright and colorfull dresses. One child said that he had come dressed for the party. We then had fun dancing free style to two songs along with the entire group. Back at class we had our snacks and discuused what all we would do during our holidays, some told that they were going to different places. We celebrated one child's birthday and enjoyed sweets that he had brought for us. Then we received a bag that we had made earlier with some valuables in it. Each child got a certificate with group photo, the 'I Can' can with printed instructions, their file and snack mat. Children were excited to dig into their bags and see their precious belongings. They got to wear a convocation cap and smile for the camera too. Our Khoj program for the year had a cool ending with some tasty ice cream to slurrp!! Bye bye, have fun !!
"Jolly-jolly jolly-day"
We started with as usual rhymes in the sunshine time with all five groups.Then we had a combined dancing there for our favourite songs.We celebrated one genie's birthday in our class and had our snacks time.We were then introduced the "I can" can and we explored the can by touching , asking aunty "what is this" and we discussed what all we can do on our own and we decided we will show that to mamma.Then all genies were given with a certificate and photos, their valuable files, the "I can" can.We then wore our convacation caps and clicked our photos and final final we tasted our yummy icecreams and told bye to our friends for our summer vacation.
Fun day
After rhyme time in sunshine we had fun dancing together with music, went to snack break. we had a combine class, we also got birthday choclate from another classmate who wants to celebrate his birthday early. We discussed about the last day and planned to give cards as a rememberance. each one drew, coloured, wrote and gave it to their classmate and friends. We then went to nectar for convocation, one by one each one sat on a small chair and aunty wore caps for them and gave them their certificate & took a smiley photo. Then we gave their file and their hand print bag which they made. We also gave a 'I CAN' can tool to empower. We empowered them by saying you can carry all these things to your house.
