1 Khoj/ Aarohi Faculty

How to start - You can come to Khoj/ Aarohi as volunteer for a month, observe the work, understand the scope and then decide

Work scope - Design, Implementation and documentation

• Documentation Expectations: Document Activities; each child observations; session Report, blog and photographs / videos
• Implementation would include:

• All preparation - material, resources, guest resource people, trips etc
• All Communication to parents
• Responsibility of each child's involvement, learning and any behavioural aspect.

Faculty fee
- Rs 7,700/- per month

Working days
- Mon to Friday.

every sat-sun, dussera, winter and summer holidays

2 Aarohi Mdule faculty
Looking for Aarohi module faculty for each section below 

1. Exploring science
2. Understanding Maths
3. Enjoying Hindi
4. Expressing English
5. Knowing Social studies - history, geography/ civics

• Your commitment - 12 weeks - (could to be extend as per your and children needs/ interest)
• Your Qualifications - a fair amount of understanding of subject, interest in the subject, inclination to LEARN more with kids
• Time - 1:30 to 2:30pm (extendable to 3pm if required)
• Starting date - As early as possible
• Age - 8 to 12yrs (3rd to 6th std) - we are using Homi Bhabha science books, NCERT books - have detailed notes for teachers and activities)
• Duration - Once in a 15 days (you can choose the day)
• Number of kids - currently  two kids
• Scope of Work - design the session with the guidance from GK, take session, update session report and kids observation
• Faculty Fee - Rs 250/- per session

Notes:
We are not looking to teach any subject. Kids will do self study one day and next day the
faculty
will enhance the concept with activities/ games/ experimenting etc. So you should have inclination towards EXPLORING the subject yourself, a fair amount of flair for designing, research and attitude of TRYING. You will be coming to take session only once in 15days but the one session will require a lot of reading, designing and research. You will guided and supported at every step.
 
3 Young Champs Program (click here to read about it)
Program duration - June 15 09 to Mar 2010
Min commitment: Six months
Days/ week - one or two or three days a week (you can choose the days
program is Monday to friday)
Program timings 2:30 to 5:30
Faculty timings: 2pm to 5:45pm
Remuneration: 400 per session
Design Expectations: Design all sessions
Documentation Expectations: Document Activities; each child
observations; session Report, blog and photographs / videos
Young Champs requirement two facilitators

4 Success saturday Program (click here to read about it)
Program duration - July to Feb 2010
Min commitment: whole program
Days/ week - since prog is only saturday - its once a week - on saturdays
Program timings 10 to 1pm
Faculty timings: 9:30pm to 2pm
Remuneration: 550 per session
Design Expectations: Design all sessions, Design tools
Documentation Expectations: Each Session - Document Activities, flow,
tools, each child observations; session Report, blog and photographs /
videos
Success saturday requirement two facilitators

5. Voluntary (from home) research and design Work
If you cannot be part of the above - but would still like to be
connected to the world of children and learning, would still like to
be part ogof geniekids team, would like to be part of all the learning
we all do (including sharing, training etc)  - then you can offer to
do voluntary work of reserach, documentation and design from home.
Min commitment: six months
Days/ time - work from home- flexi hours
Remuneration: Voluntary - however if you are partof osomething that
brings revenue to geniekids and you will also be remunerated.
Expectations: Web based research, Designing, documentation on website etc
