What is a Mela ? - not that we need a definition - but the core idea is to get together and participate together. We plan to have three Mela in the whole academic year - one in each quarter.

Why Mela ?
~ To involve Parents in their child's school activities in a participative way.
~ To give a rich and unique experience and exposure to children.
~ To foster multi cultural interactions - through sharing, doing, expressing, and mixing.

Mela is all about having fun and enjoying and doing things together. We look forward to your participation in the same.

How YOU can be involved ?
Setting up stalls as per the theme. Meet faculty with your ideas and thoughts. The meeting will help us to know who is putting which stall and how we are going about it.

Can my child be part of the stall ?
it is upto the child. You as family can decide how do you want to put up the stall child participation is purely the childs' decision-  for Mela they are our special guest. If they want to set up stall with you - most welcome, but this is not our requirement.

I cannot put up stall
I am working, I have small chidl at home, I treval a lot, too busy at office - cannot put up any sta

It is an opportunity to make your child feel special by participating in Mela and other events. Normally Meal day and other events are planned in the beginning of the quarter and shared with you. That means 2-3 months in advance - hence gives you enough time to plan this day. Some times events are planned at short notice also and doe snot gives you enough time to plan. We beleive that you will best possibel to be part of any event at Aarohi - hence no acceptance or disappointments.

Is it compulsory to put up stall ?

No it is not - it is purely voluntarily. However, it is highly recommended - as and when you can. Even if you cannot put upstall, visit the Mela/ event on the day of event and be with the child, enjoy with the child.

What If I cannot come ?

  1. You can send the child with any adult for Mela with money to buy tokens :)
  2. You can send child with other Aarohi parents.

What faculty cannot take care of the child on the day of Mela ?

All faculty is mentoring melas stalls and mosyly support the parenst who are putting up stall. Henec we request you to take care of the chil'd need.
