New Vision and Initiative
The last ten years, we at Geniekids, have invested in understanding and learning intensely about children, learning and about facilitating this process in children. We think that we have developed a strong competence to develop, design and deliver content to all stakeholders in education system - children, parents and teachers.
(Click here to go to a document where we have listed what we believe are our competencies - specially for people not very clear of what all Geniekids can do and is good at :-)
We intensely desire to leverage our understanding and competence and provide significant contribution to any of the stake holders through a POWERFUL VISION leading to a meaningful INITIATIVE.
There are multiple challenges in deciding what initiative to take (T-I-M-E)
1> Which stakeholder do we target? - The Target
2> What form(s) will the initiative be in? The Idea
3> How will we ensure that we get enough numbers to make the initiative a success? The Marketing
4> How will we ensure and know that we are making significant contribution? Effectiveness measurement
For overall success of the initiative we would have to get this T.I.M.Eing right!
Further we are very consciously OPEN to collaborating with any existing organization or group of people. We realise that this could be a more enlarging and effective way forward. However, if required we can also do whatever we want to do, on our own also.
Many ideas have flown in the past (like children or teacher magazine, online projects for children, learning exhibitions for parents and children, curriculum package for schools and many more) - when the ideas came, we were excited - but the excitement did not last long - for one reason or the other. This time we want to do a little more intense thinking, compare many ideas, meet up with more people, look for collaboration and finally choose one path and go whole hog on it.
This email / document is to invite you to be first part of this thinking process and then if interested be part of the imitative itself.
You can
>> Give ideas of what we can do
>> Give references of organisations or people whom we can meet
>> any other way.......

personality-development hubs
The amount of passion you have for working with children is enormous and well-demonstrated.
Without getting into great detail, I believe that there is a business-case for personality-development hubs (not fragmented hobby classes) for children. Academic schools may not have this as a focus area given their focus on exams and curriculum completion.
Personality-development hubs could offer a suite of programs that would facilitate the children to co-exist with civiliation and environment, develop key labour skills used in everyday life, promote civic-awareness et al.
As you have already started such initiatives, you should partner with more instituions in these areas so that you can provide a holistic development package to children beyond what they learn at schools. We can provide more suggestions, if you require.

Issue of faculty independent modules
Thanks sanjay for your thoughts
Definitely developing modules that can offer holistic devvelopment for the child is one of our key interest area.
The challenge we face is to make it less faculty dependent, easy to deliver and yet have measurable results. Then only it is possible to multiple to reach a larger number of children.
Will keep your inputs in mind as we go along. thanks once again
private media channels
A civic-group I am part of, has the same challenge on scaling up civic-education program for kids - how to make it Pan-India.
One of the thoughts is to go through private media channels like KidsVoting programs in US.
But some level of personal interaction will be essential for personality development programs. So offering a limited network of centres and also going on private channels could be a solution.
