Parent Involvement
We believe that parent is a partner in child’s development and hence their involvement is mandatory and is encouraged in Geniekids through observation sessions, regular program updates, parent child day, home visits, one to one discussions with Geniekids team and finally through parenting workshops conducted every Saturday.

- Parent Child Day: Every month we have a parent child day – a space for parents to come and work with the children. Activities are designed on this day keeping in mind that the parents and children will work together – both as learners and explorers. The parent child day is also typically tied to any festival or special occasion in the month.
- Parenting Workshops: Geniekids organizes workshops for parents on various topics related to child development. You are encouraged to invite the same for your learning. These workshop are free for you. We charge minimal amount for your guest friend.
One of the key factor of KHOJ at genie kids is the involvement of parents in our sessions. Your involvement will enrich every child's learning.
All of us are good in something or other. We need to pull up all the resources and work together to make things better for every child.
Genie kids take this initiative to bring like minded parents together and work together at geniekids. Explore your own hidden potential by contributing and working with kids at geniekids. You do not need to commit a long time for any of the activity - you can choose how much you would like to take part. Every effort you make - it will add to our resources. "There are no hands so small that they cannot make a difference in the world".

We have listed few areas where you can contribute and meet other like minded parents at geniekids. Tick your preference and send it to us. It is mandatory for every parent to take part in atleast one activity. You can add more to the list as per your interest.
Step Two - Understand your role
Meet at geniekids with our facilitators to understand how you can contribute. We will let you know when to meet as per the interest you show.
Step Three - Take off
Just start and bring the smile on evry child's face.
Areas in which you can take part
- If you like making art and craft - take part in room decoration as per the theme
- If you like to sing - come and sing with our kids. We learn from you and listen to you. Make music, create music.
- If you are computer savvy - be part of our "comp khoji". work together with us to make communication with other parents better through web. Create blogs, initiate discussions, reach out to parents more.
- If you are a thinker - be a part of "Khoj Researcher" - You read, research about various new tool used across the world for pre school.
- If you like going out - be a part of our "Khoji Traveler" team - Arrange together with us field trips for kids. We all get together, pool our vehicles and just take off.
- If you like socializing - be a part of our "Social khoji" group. Arrange home trips for kids. Kids visit our homes and be part of our family for few hours.
- If you like to celebrate festivals " be apart of our "celebrating Khoji's team". Celebrate each and every festival for our kids - together we explore Indian and other festivals.
- If you like to talk to people - be a part of "Better Khoj team". Be in touch with other parents - take and give feed back. Communicate with them on what is happening at the school - how can they maximize the learning of their child.
