Neetu 13ttt (online) says: For me it was very appropriately said in one of the slides that you are trying to teach maths..As I face the similar reply from my daughter.
She doesn't get motivated enough or rather maths not used by us in more exploring way.
Making it one of my goal to make maths enjoyable for Tvisha and myself.
Savitri 13ttt(online) says: The importance of math should never be underestimated, and it is essential to impress this fact upon your children while they are young. Whether we realize it or not, we use math every day in our jobs, on a morning commute or at home. Virtually every occupation, in some way, involves the use of math, whether you are a secretary, athlete, musician, doctor or social worker. Many children do not understand that no matter what occupation they choose, they will need to use math in some capacity.
Math teaches important skills like logic and problem solving, skills that children will be able to apply to a variety of situations throughout their lives.
Sarang 11ttt says: Felt very fascinated at the fact that when we change the way we look at something it changes completely. The practicality of introducing learning as we learn our language (need based) and integrating it with all our learning’s seems to be the most natural and done way to learn. Then why isn’t it so prevalent? At every stage a faculty’s question to herself must be what I want my students to learn. This session made me think that I can face any subject without prejudices. Hopefully I will pass on this feeling to all the kids I interact with
Mahalakshmi 11ttt says: Math a Magic Show it was. How nice it will be to learn concept of mathematics instead of "learning it abstract".
