Anjali 13ttt says: Learning styles also make acceptance easy. Once we realize that different individuals can be operating from different LS in different situations, we can address the conflicts in a more effective way. We can accept others' learning style and communicate our LS at the same time. Flexibility plays a role here.
Veena 13ttt says: I learned many things from this session. We should accept the kids as they are. Don’t force them to learn something in the way it has to be done. Let them choose the way they want to do. They can walk around and read, they can make picture to remember what they have read.
Sumana 11 ttt says:I learnt in this session that a person would use any of the three different senses to learn or enjoy things ....Visual, auditory and kinesthec.....I also understood that each person would subconsciously use any one of the sesnses more than the other 2 .....ie predominantly use one sense more than the other....while doing that the person using his visual senses to learn may not understand why a person using kinesthetic sense need a differnt approach to learning...Awareness has created undertsanding..
Sindhu 11ttt says: It was a eye opener for me to know about VAK, I was thinking about my daughters habit of learning things / singing and lying down while she is learning was something to do with her laziness or not happy to learn that- now I can understand her and accept her method learning. Her habit always needing me to cuddle her I thought is a act of getting attention . all the while it was that she is a kinetics person.
Manjistha 10ttt says: The child who follows the visual style in learning or understanding a particular task may not apply the same style in each and every works; that’s why it is important to find out the definite style the child finds comfortable to accept for that definite task. Then there will be no categorization among the children. It is better to choose the method or the strategies of learning by the child himself.
