Children's Day 14'Nov

PDF version

Celebrating Children's Day with Parents on 14th Nov Do you remember the time when you were a little child ? How you enjoyed playing with your toys ? How much your Mamma and Papa loved you, all those wonderful things that they did for you? Did you look up to your parents and wished to grow up and be just like them? Lets go down memory lane and spend some time together changing our role. We invited every Mamma and Papa to become children and all the children to become Mammas and Papas. We all got together on the 14th of November(Friday) to GK for a different experience. We requested all Mammas and Papas to come dressed as children and children, dressed up as Mammas or Papas. Oh how lovely we all looked At the blue gate of Geniekids, we had cheerful people in colorful dresses coming in on 14th Nov. We were celebrating children's day. Little Mammas and Papas, brought in their big babies. Little Mammas wore pretty dresses, fancy salwar kameez with dupattas, not to miss the lovely bangles and all those glittering accessories and little Papas with pants and shirts, tie and full suit, too much !! And the bis babies were no less, with pony tails, skirts and trousers. Oh how much fun we had We began with our rhymes and it was lovely to see so many parents join in with their best smiles. We played a game of getting to know each other and finding our children from the group. We had fun playing with baskets in different ways, trying to put the ball into it at different heights and as we moved. Oh how we care for each other As we got hungry we made a tasty snack with biscuits, jam, gems and shreded chocolate, the little Mamas and Papas made it for their children and enjoyed eating it, some of them fed eachother. Thanks to the group for the wholehearted participation throughout. Shivani Aunty (Petals group)

It was a great session enjoyed with kids (parents) and parents (kids). Some of the kids were very attached with their parents and enjoyed the activity with them. We started with Sunshine time and kids (parents) enjoyed many rhymes with their parents (kids) which was initiated by them. Then we started our activity with vegetable printing (ladies finger)
On the chart with two colors and explored many body parts with the paint. In the snacks time we were with our kids (parents) enjoyed our snacks. Then we started preparing food for our kids (parents) with our biscuits, jams, and chocolate powder, then we shared with our friends and our parents and kids. We finally ended our session with playing bubbles with our kids (parents) and we enjoyed the most by catching the bubbles.
