Play shop

Playshop - and as the name suggest the learning will be primarily based on loads of different kinds of games working of development of a multitude of skills.Through play shop we give exposure to the logical development.

Games to develop:

1. Action Shop-Body genie: Fine motor, gross motor, balancing, coordination, concentration, strength, feasibility etc.
2. Number Shop- Logic Genie: Logical connections, strategic thinking, Decision making, number sense and comparison, etc
3. Art Shop- Visual Genie-Opportunity to work on creativity, composing all through games.
4. People Shop- Social & Emotional Skills: Games are a primary way to offer opportunities for social skills - team work, cooperation, interdependence, coordination, becoming aware and managing feelings, etc.
5. Fun Shop_Fun shop- As the name suggests it is all fun through music, through dance through different games
   

The above can be achieved through games which can broadly fall under different categories like:

• Board games (like snakes and ladders, horse race etc)
 
• Indoor and outdoor skill games (like ring an object, tallest tower, strike a marble)
• Indoor and outdoor team games (like hop and catch, stamp my tail)
• Outdoor sports (like dodge ball, kabaddi, cricket )
• Creativity Games (dress a monster, longest tail of paper)
• Music and Dance play (Fun music / dance games and activities)

An integral part of play shop being scoring. Introduction to various ways of scoring, amking own score cards etc.
