Snack time child view
Learning in snacks time:
Word: Kids pick up the vocabulary from each other, while having the discussion about the act theme they talk about it, like i get up 6 o clock, my snack is red color, i have sister in my house, i eat with my right hand etc.Make story with snacks or tell stories about the families. some tell the recipes of the food they get. some give gyan as which is healthy to eat and which is junk and not to eat.
Visual: They can see different shapes and letters in the snacks. one shows the letter j, one shows the l and M another shows circle shape and another the triangle. then talk about the different colours like white, brown ,yellow, red, orange etc.
Music: We listen to the music some times when we eat the snacks, some times the kids themselves sing, one start all others also start. Some time they make the music with the boxes and the bottles by shaking them tapping them etc.
Nature: They talk about the different things they get like vegetable names and the fruits name and some times talk about the tree on which grows. They wash the hands before and after the snacks and clean the place after the snacks. wipe the water or juice if anything has spilled.
Logic: They play the game of guessing like tell me what is there in my box, it is hard, it is soft, it is yellow in colour etc. count the snacks, eat some and see how many are left. arranging the snacks in different patterns, trying to open the bottle and boxes in different ways. trying to find out why the box or bottle is not opening. Looking at the clock and telling what time is it how much time is left to eat the snacks. counting how many of them have come and how many are absent.
People and Self: They share the snacks, fruits. Talk about the emotions how they felt when they saw the snacks and food. They communicate and interact with the other kids.
Body: Eating in different ways. eating using all finger, only two finger, three fingers etc. Using the fork and spoon to eat. Opening the box, sweeping, mopping etc.
