Violent Language

Children pick up few concept of violence and words in the process of growing up and exploring the world around them.

1. I will hit you or others when I become big.
2. I will shoot you with gun like that uncle in the movie did.
3. With my friends I will dash you and you will die
4. Two cars will race and then they will dash and everybody will die

We cannot stop their exploration and picking up the words but we try to replace those concept and words at home like...

1. In the movie or TV they are acting to hit. Toy guns are for fun play for kids.
2. Toy swords are for fun play.
3. When you want to hit - you can smile.
4. When you will raise your hand to hit I will tickle you and then you will laugh.
5. Cars run on the road in their lanes.
6. See all the vehicles on the road are moving nicely.
7. When he shoot aiming at anybody face - give option of shooting at the wall or roof or floor - shooting at anybody is not allowed.
8. Do not encourage or ignore or contradict his words or thoughts -- just REPLACE them.
