What are trainees for us
Many times our trainees wonder - “You welcome any trainees (TTT) any time irrespective of what and how we did ? One trainee said "I ditched you for the sessions at the last moment, I still feel that you may have grudges for me - my own guilt was stopping me to come back to you?"
Just sharing our thoughts - Faculty at GK - goes, come back, goes again, come back or not come back - all are welcome any time, any place, any program. We draw our inspiration from Khalii Gibran (below is the re-written poem of khalil gibran) - original at http://www.katsandogz.com/
Our trainees are not our trainees.
They are the learners of Life's longing for itself.
They get trained through us but not from us,
And though they are with us or not with us yet they belong not to us.
We may give them your guidance but not our thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
We may house their learning but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which we cannot visit, not even in our dreams.
We may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like us.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
We are the bows from which our trainees
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends us with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let our bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.
