Thumb Sucking
I was reading your article on thumb sucking. This article is an eye opener for every parent. Thanks for such a wonderful insight, most parents are ignorant and try whatever possible way to break this habit, [also included the relatives who will go after the child to stop thumb sucking]. Do you have the T-shirt that you talk about on thumb sucking - "mera anghuta, mera mooh, tumko kya?".. I want to buy that t- shirt.

Learning has no barriers
A very nice message, Ratnesh. Even though I have never attended any of your programs and even though my daughter has never participated in any of your programs, I have enjoyed reading every one of the messages you have posted to this group and have found value in most of them.
Thanks for sharing such nuggets and showing that "Learning has no age barriers"Uma Mohan -
Photo magic
I have been sending my 2 year old daughter to the playhome near my place in BTM layout since last one week. She used to cry every morning. She used to tell us before going to bed that she is not going to "School" in the morning. She would say it again as soon as waking up in the morning. We were trying our best to make her love her "playhome".
Even today morning first thing she said as soon as she woke up was "school beeda". When she saw the lunch box and her bag being packed, she cried.
I showed her a small framed family photo (unbreakable frame). She started kissing everyone in the photograph. Later I kept that in her bag and told her to show that photo to everyone (to all the "aunties" in her school). She nodded her head willingly. She sat in the car quietly as we drove to school. She went to her "aunty" at school with open arms. She told her "aunty" that she'll show the picture later. She stood in the line along with other chilldren to join them in the prayer.
I left the "playhome" peacefully. She didn't cry when I left the place.Chaya V (response to article on Easing Separation Anxiety) -
discovering insights
I discovered quite a few valuable insights from your article. I have a 7 yr old boy, who is exploring himself. 'Asking questions' has definitely helped him and me...(And I'm quite surprised at his answers!!) Thank you. I look forward to many more articles.
