Timings 2:30 - 5:30pm, Free Resource Time 1:30 to 2:30  and 5:30 to 6:30

Geniekids brings its huge child development and educational expertise
and offers a week days after-school learning and development program

Discovery Club offers child opportunity to explore Knowledge, develop Thinking, build Confidence and get exposure to social skills.

Geniekids offers facilitated resources which the child explores based on child's interest. While the facilitator introduces, guides, and encourages children into the various options and opportunities available, children spend time freely based on interest, curiosity and peer involvement. Children often expands on their school work/ projects using Geniekids resources.
 

Every Monday: Young Artist
Through a series of structured activities develop Success Skills, thinking skills, an open, able and constantly learning mind and Intrapersonal Intelligence.

Every Tuesday: Young Expressor
Develop Linguistic Intelligence through reading, expressing and writing. Eagerness and motivation to learn, develop proficiency in the language.
READING Develop love for reading, books and written material.
TALKING Use of appropriate language and expressions in communicating thoughts, feelings and ideas.
VOCABULARY Build a versatile vocabulary and form of expression.
WRITING Make writing relevant, interesting and a comfortable expressive medium.

Every Wednesday: Young Explorer
Develop Mathematical Intelligence; Analytical & Logical Abilities and a scientific mind. Naturalistic Intelligence.

Every Thursday: Young Leader
Develop Interpersonal, Social and people skills. Enhance and Kinesthetic Intelligence. Acquire leadership qualities.

Every Friday: Young Creator
Develop Visual, Spatial and Musical Intelligence. Become Creative and enhance various Art skills

Here are the ABCDE of what Discovery Club includes:

Activity Club - More than 200 education games and thousands of activities - including (though not limited to) maths, art, clay, sand, social and emotional skills.
Books Club - Read, tell, research and use all kinds of books from an expansive collection of 3500+ titles.
Computer Club - Creative use of technology in education using kids software, Internet, CD-ROMs, VCDs, digital camera, scanner and audio-video presentations.
Drama & Music Club: Story telling, puppetry, drama and movement. Strum, beat and make music out of more than 20 instruments, explore cassettes, CDs and music on internet, create own remixes and add sound effects to all your shows.
Experimenter's Club: Science explored at its varied best - all kinds of equipment to experiment and investigate concepts related to science and environment.

How will Discovery Club benefit my child?
1. Great way to develop knowledge, intelligence and skills.
2. Makes child independent learner. Develops an inquiring and experimental mind.
3. Helps in furthering understanding of concepts being learned in school.
4. Learning through doing, playing and creating. Look at learning beyond the curriculum.
5. Different age peer to peer interaction leads to unique social development opportunities.

How does Discovery Club work?
1. Discovery Club starts from 19June 06. Your child can join anytime on or after this date.
2. Children can come to Geniekids for any number of hours between 2 to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding school/ public holidays). Parents whenever they want can accompany children too!
3. Apart from using all the above zones, the child can rest, sleep, eat or just relax at Geniekids.
4. Geniekids facilitator will interact, supervise and guide the child. The facilitator will also conduct regular group activities. Once in a while the facilitator may take a group of children to the park opposite to geniekids center too!
5. Your child can come directly from school (via school transport) or come from home. Any operational help the child requires within geniekids will be offered by our staff. Child carries enough lunch or snacks from home. However, in emergency, geniekids can arrange for packaged snacks at actual expenses.

Daily Schedule of Discovery Club
1pm to 1:30pm Lunch (with care-giver)
1:30 to 2:30 Quiet time or sleeping time (with facilitator)
2:30 to 3:30 Activity time - Child chooses the activity and do it either alone or with other children. (with facilitator)
3:30 to 4 Snack Time
4 to 5:30 Group Time (Common activities which the facilitator conducts with all children)
5:30 onwards Activity time - Child chooses the activity and do it either alone or with other children (with caregiver)

NOTES:
1. Discovery Club is an ongoing program. Your child can join anytime.
2. Children can come to Geniekids for any number of hours between the club timings.
3. Discovery Club is closed on all govt./ bank holidays and during all long school holidays - like Dushera, Chirstmas, and Summer holidays
4 Parents whenever they want can accompany children too!

6. Membership Fees:
        Registration Fee: Rs1000/- (one time)
        Quarterly Fee: Rs4500/-
        Evening Snacks (optional) - Rs500 per month
        Only one month package - Rs2000/-
