HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between HDFC Ltd., India's leading housing finance institution and Standard Life Assurance Company, Europe's largest mutual life company. Incorporated on 14th August 2000, it was the first life company to be granted a certificate of registration by the IRDA on the 23rd of October 2000. Taking the same point further, it has embarked on a long journey to touch the lives of young parents through an exercise called "Parenting for the New Generation".

Indeed, parenting is no longer a matter of the father or mother talking down to the child. It is one of discipline, tempered by friendship, love and understanding. It is also a matter of coping with the pressures of competition in academics and building a strong foundation towards a better future for the child. HDFC Standard Life endeavor to equip the new generation parents with the required tools and techniques which will help them achieve the best from the future generation.

HDFC Standard Life has recognised GENIEKIDS endeavour to look at the comprehensive development of the child and Geniekids efforts to offer parents effective parenting approaches, strategies and insights. Hence, HDFC Standard Life has entered into this association with Geniekids towards providing the best to parents and to the new generation.

Programs under, "Parenting for the New Generation" are organised by HDFC Standard Life
and are conducted by professionals from GENIEKIDS.
