IBM Global Services Pvt. Ltd

YEAR 2002-04

In 2001 GenieKids was the only organization which was selected from Bangalore by IBM Global Work/Life fund to give developmental programs to children in Bangalore.

So for two years the following work was done by Geniekids for IBM India:

1. Programs for Children through out the year.
2. Resource Center for Children and programs based on that.
3. Summer and other holiday programs for children of IBM employees
4. A series of parenting workshops for employees and spouses of IBM at their work place

The above project was completely funded by IBM Global Work Life fund.

The Genie Kids program responds to the needs of busy families and works with corporations to customize specific programs for children and their parents. Their program meets the needs of families and provides a solution for working parents. WFD Consulting of Boston worked with Genie Kids to provide special programs for IBM through the IBM Global Work Life Fund. Children who attend the holiday and summer programs have fun and achieve academic excellence through meaningful learning and hands-on activities. Workshops educate parents about the latest theories, newer methodologies, and various techniques for learning.

YEAR 2005-07

The IBM global services has recently (2005) awarded a project to Geniekids which covers the following:

1. 100 workshops for parents over the next two eyars.
2. Resource Center for IBM Children at their parents (IBM employees) workplace at four various work locations in two different Indian cities
3. A lot of consultancy work to guide parents towards best developmental opportunities
4. Production of parenting training videos for IBM employees
