Library Membership Options
Timings:
1 pm to 6pm; Monday through Friday
10am to 2pm - Saturday. (Sunday holiday)
Late Return:
In case you return books late you need to wait the same numbers of days before you can get next set of books issued. For example if your deadline was 10th and you return on 15th –
i.e. 5 days late – you can get the next book issues – not on 15th but only on 20th. So, while we do not believe in monetary fines (because children will not understand the value of loss) children face the consequence of not retuning by waiting - which they will value!
Lost Resources:
Either you replace the book (preferred)
Or
You pay the cost of replacement
Damaged Resources (or part of a game lost):
If damaged beyond repair then “lost book” clause applies.
Otherwise you pay the cost to the extent of damaged – a decision taken by the Geniekids
It is the responsibility of the child or parent to check the resource (book and specially the kits) before they take one. We on our part will always remind the children to do so.
Cancellation Policy: Our cancellation policy is very member friendly – you can opt out of the membership at any point of time.
Months used will be charges on pro rata basis and balance fee returned. For example if child has used library for 3 months and 20 days that this will be counted as four months and balance eight months fees will be returned.
Refundable deposit will also be returned.
Request to members: We keep adding to our collection of books and games and we rely heavily on references and recommendation of our members. Both children and parents are encouraged to leave their wish list/ recommendations (with a line in support of the resource) so that we can make our collection richer.
