Preparing Children
Sexually
A
workshop for parents on How to talk, what to talk and how to
prepare your child. Most parents have the best of intentions
and want to prepare their children for healthy sexual
relations but it can be uncomfortable, embarrassing and we
may not know where to start. Hence most of us don't do
anything till one day our child is a teenager and then they
do not want to talk because they feel self-conscious or
confused. Geniekids takes this initiative to "start it
early". This is also an empower your child to deal with
any situation of abuse that he/ she may face at school,
public places or even at home.

to break your own barrier, so that sex is seen as a normal part of life -
not something to be laughed at hidden or be ashamed of.
Why talk about sex?
- Children at an early age are
exposed, whether we like it or not. We cannot protect them
from it but we can help by giving them information and
support.
- Inform them before the world tells
them
- Just as children need to have good
knowledge and skills for playing sport, studying at
school, and road safety, they need to have good sexual
education.
The workshop will be in two parts
Part 1 - Breaking the Barriers

- Sexual behaviour at various stages
Part 2 – Awareness and Empowerment
- Make child aware of good touch- Bad

- Empower the child at home
The workshop will be conducted by
Aditi, co-founder director of Geniekids. She is a
counsellor and has huge experience of working with kids of
various sages.
