Hai Ya Ho [3, 4, 5 yrs]

An explosion - of thinking doing, trying, struggles, figuring it out oneself or with peers, helping each other and creating own results and  outcomes. With activities of the widest nature (based on the eight Multiple Intelligences) - the prog is not about what the children do, but more about HOW they DO. A process that activates the inner resources, strengths and abilities. A process that is inherently full of vigor, and joy of doing and achievement by one's own standard (with no external judgement). A process that makes summer holidays a time to celebrate child's innate productivity!

What's in the Lamp??

Hai Ya Yo takes me into a land of puppets - whacky and with minds of their own.

I

Everyday I experiment making different puppets - with paper, socks, shadows, hands, brooms, junk boxes, and many more .... !!

I create characters, mix two characters, copy a character (from another story), modify the story character, introduce animal characters or characters from my life (say mummy), etc.

I complete a story, change a story, make a story, opposite story, story in reverse order, re-tell story, etc.

Not only that, I express my thoughts and feeligs through our own Puppet show, group show, behind the (light) curtain, talking machine, voice only show, in  camera show, musical show, etc.

Where's the learning?

I am involved in what I do.

I make the puppets, so I own the efforts it took to think, overcome constraints and create with my small hands.

I do the characterization.  For that I observe, I relate, I understand and I explore. The key to my learning (and to life) is in interacting with others, exploring others and understanding others.

I weave the story too. My imagination twists it, turns it, churns it, burns it... it's me creating everywhere.

I say what I think - my expression and thinking are therefore closely connected, one helping the other to develop.  I get  space to express freely - through that I evolve learning to a higher plane. 

I meet the eight intelligences and play with them:

music-people-word-nature-self-visual-logic-body intelligences!!  

Your Investment

Time: 10am to 1pm
Duration: 9 weeks* [min. 3 weeks] - April & May
Cost: Rs.1200/- per week
*Flexibility: Since this program is designed on weekly basis - your child can start on any Monday between the program's start date and end date and take any number of weeks (three being minimum and 9 being maximum). You can also take a break in between.
