Practicals
Practicals (Working experience with chidlren)
The conceptual sessions are eye openers and the concepts gained can be immediately appllied to children. However, when you work with a group of children - that really gives you a comprehensive opportunity to apply and understand the all the concepts in a complete way. So practicals are VERY IMPORTANT part of this course. We do not certify you till you finish your practicals (actual working with chidlren)
You can take practical experience of working with children at Genikids or any other place - discuss with course co-ordinator. You will have many options of doing practicals.
Minimum Two weeks (or 10 sessions) of practicals required:

Two weeks of off line preparation – more you prepare outside the class - more you inspire your class. Since while taking sessions you are actual working live with the kids group (with nobody else in the room) – preparation is utmost important. You will be guided by a mentor and course coordinator.

DO research – read – make samples – experiment – take guidance and then start practical.
- If you wish you have option of more than two weeks practicals experinece of working with children - discuss with the course co-ordinator.
At Geniekids, Bangalore
1. Two weeks - 10 days - during Dushera holidays
2. Two weeks - 10 days - during Christmas holidays
3. Ten Saturdays - 10 days - Oct-Nov-Dec
4. Ten Saturdays - 10 days - Jan-Feb-Mar
2. Two weeks - 10 days - during Christmas holidays
3. Ten Saturdays - 10 days - Oct-Nov-Dec
4. Ten Saturdays - 10 days - Jan-Feb-Mar
5.Two weeks - 10 days - during Summer holiday
Once you finish your practicals you can take up more progarmems at geniekisd and work as faculty. And continue to work as facultyin various programme.
Practicals Outside GenieKids
Anybody who wants to do practicals outside GK the process is as follows:
Choose any two weeks durtaion.
- You prepare the program - the outline and flow will be given to you.
- You discuss with mentor and prepare the program to the end detail.
- Since you will take outside GK so it makes more sense that the preparation is 200%.
Once your program is ready and we are satisfy with your preparation - GK will announce the program.
Observation Sessions (for practicals at GK, Bangalore)
Before practicals and during the classroom session you will get opportunity to observe atlaest one observation session at geniekids. You will be given date and day when you come for observation
Repeating DESIGN : As a part of TTT, You do the practicals of two weeks and you are guided by the mentors
We TRUST that the design will not be used or repeated by anyone to do the repeat program independently
However if you wish to do the same program you can do
- as GK faculty and get paid as faculty and the registration amount is collected by GK (all based on TRUST, no checking done form our side)
- OR you can buy the design from Gk and conduct the programs as independent organiser - you can ask for package.
