Train the Trainer

 The TTT program comprises of four components:
1. Classroom learning - insightful, interactive classes essentially aimed at giving to you a fundamental understanding into the world of children and learning. The sessions are held twice a week (two weekdays - pl check batch schedule to know the exact days fo a particular batch).
2. Assignments - Essentially a way of reflecting, experimenting and experiencing all the learning that you gathered from the session. (All assignments are submitted online - so that everybody can read each other's assignments and learn from them)
3. Peer to peer - collaborative work for shared learning - discussions, research and group work.
4. Actual practical working with children (to be done with children at geniekids or a group of children near your home).  Practicals can vary from two weeks to 3-4 months depending upon your needs and requirement of experience. There are many options for practicals and the same can be tailor made for you.

The Program is ideal for you if

• You want to work with children like conducting programs/ workshops for children.
• Or you want to start own play school, nursery or primary school or a center like geniekids.
• Or you are aspiring to be a teacher in pre-primary and primary sections of any already established school.
• Or you want to counsel children or work with parents
• Or none of the above BUT you would still like to understand and know about children – in-depth.

Your Qualifications:

• You like to be with children. Children like to be with you, to do things with you.
• Children not only like you, they learn from you. You are eager to provide them with opportunities to learn.
  
•  You are yourself open to learning. You look forward to every day, eagerly, as an opportunity to learn about children, to learn about learning and to learn whatever children are learning.
  
• You have a positive, highly energetic, enthusiastic and constructive attitude toward what you and those around you do.

"When I joined TTT, I joined it out of curiosity to know what is it at Geniekids that makes kids want to go back there for more. When I attended the sessions, I realized that there is so much more to learn apart from what I had already learned at college.
As the course progressed, I discovered so many things about myself that I was not aware of till now. How do you take this training Forward 

• You can start your own center/ school and work with children.
  
• You are equipped to work at any other school as a teacher or with any other child development center.
  
• You can contribute to any children NGO's efforts part or full time.
  
• You can start programs for a small group of children from your home (or tie up with a school near by)
  
• You may do counseling for children or parents. You may even train parents and teachers (after some experience of working with kids)
• You may join GenieKids center (at Bangalore) as a facilitator as per our requirement
